Scope of work
✔ Discovery Work
Collaborated with Head of Global Partnership Tools to scope our designs requirements.
✔ Designs
Provided expert-level guidance on product workflow and designs mocks to ensure the best project outcomes given the tight deadlines, loose requirements, and client constraints.
✔ Development
Performed thorough post-production design reviews to ensure quality and adherence to user needs.
Many users expressed the need for having a Client Relationship Management (CRM) in one internal tool.
02. UX Improvement
I discovered 3 user problems and strategized solutions to ensure it met users and business needs.
Problems
❌ Data Inconsistency
With multiple users and third-party apps, ensuring consistent and accurate data entry across partnerships can be difficult.
❌ Complex Workflows
Difficulty collaborating with stakeholders on deal negotiations and approvals.
❌ Manual Processes
Manually entering complex deal details for each third party app is time-consuming and error-prone.
Solutions
💚 Standardized Data Entry Forms
Implement pre-defined fields to ensure data accuracy and consistency.
💚 Automated Workflows
Enable secure document sharing and implement built-in communication features for discussions on specific deals.
💚 Integration of CRM
Integrate the third party apps into one CRM to streamline workflows.
03. UI Design
I leveraged and redesigned while using Google’s design system components to address users needs while aligning with business requirements.
04. Old Screens
Old designs used to be hosted on multiple third party applications such as Salesforce. I referenced those apps and did a brainstorming session with Google Leadership to define design requirements and iterate on designs.
05. Launched Designs
Unified CRM Platform
Designed a centralized, user-friendly internal tool to harmonize data previously scattered across multiple platforms, enhancing team efficiency.
Landing Page
Collaborated to Google Leadership to design out the landing page. Kept it simple with easy access to Android Deals.
Landing Page Evolution
This collection presents the iterative designs process for the landing page. I explored a wide range of options, ultimately prioritizing simplicity and user experience based on Google Leadership and other stakeholders' input.
The Process
The deal formation process was fragmented across multiple platforms, leading to inconsistencies and user frsutration. I did the redesign to streamline the process centralizing data entry and standardizing forms to enhance accuracy and user experience.
Standardized Forms
Implement pre-defined templates for common deal structures to reduce manual input.
06. Use Cases & more
Continued Support
Collaborated with the team to deliver 20+ use cases, resulting in a 15% increase in product efficiency.
Data Analysis/Visualization
Offer a visual timeline of deal stages for intuitive tracking and in-depth deal analysis through table views
Notes Widget
Designed built-in communication features for discussions on specific deals.
Integrated Google Sheet
Deals too complex for the tool are designed in Google Sheets with engineers embedding it into the tool.
07. Reflection
This project contributed significant growth to me as as a designer as I led design efforts, collaborating with leadership and engineers.
Ad hoc design requirements became a learning experience, honing my ability to prioritize, iterate quickly, and find creative solutions within time constraints.
